Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes prohibited and restricted activities when using muv.’s website, APIs, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Overview

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and these policies. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use violates this AUP, our Terms, or creates risk to muv., customers, or end users.

2. Prohibited activities

The following activities are prohibited when using the Services:

  • Fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crime
  • Processing payments for illegal goods or services
  • Attempts to evade sanctions, restrictions, or compliance controls
  • Unauthorized access, probing, or interference with systems or networks
  • Distribution of malware, phishing, or other malicious activity
  • Harassment, threats, or abuse of others
  • Any activity that violates third-party rights (including intellectual property)
  • Adult content businesses and related products

3. Restricted activities

Some activities may be permitted only with prior written approval from muv. and/or subject to additional requirements (e.g., enhanced due diligence, additional terms, or limitations). Examples may include:

  • High-risk financial services or regulated activities
  • Gambling, gaming, or betting (where legal)
  • Digital assets / cryptocurrency-related activity
  • High chargeback or high dispute-rate business models
  • Cross-border remittance or FX-related flows

4. Compliance and KYC/AML support

You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your business and use of the Services. We may request information to support compliance reviews, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring where required or appropriate.

5. Security requirements

You must take reasonable steps to protect user data, credentials, and API keys. This includes keeping secrets out of source control, applying least-privilege access, and promptly rotating keys after suspected compromise.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action including disabling features, suspending processing, withholding payouts where permitted, or terminating accounts. We may also report activity to law enforcement or regulators when required by law.

7. Updates to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
